Along with several Chinese brothers he started Trailhead Fellowship. Brent has 35 years of ministry experience in campus, ministry, pastoral, work, and leader development and care. He designed LeaderTrek and Spiritual Life Retreats to help build the lives of Chinese Christian leaders.

He holds a degree in Biblical studies from Azusa Pacific University, and also an MA in Intercultural Missions from Wheaton College Graduate School, and an M.Div from Moody Theological Seminary.
