Father & Son Campout

Our Purpose

Pastor Mark Batterson once said, “Don’t accumulate possessions; accumulate experiences.”

As a dad, you've gathered plenty of things over the years—now it's time to gather meaningful experiences with your son(s). The Father & Son Campout is designed to create unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime.

This weekend will be filled with exciting activities, gospel-centered worship, and impactful teaching and sharing. Our heart is for every father to build lasting memories with his son(s) while growing together in faith and pursuing Jesus Christ as our Savior!

Camp Overview

The 2025 Father & Son Campout will take place at Camp Lone Star (2016 Camp Lone Star Rd, La Grange, TX 78945) from April 4–6, 2025.

  • Plan to arrive by 6:00 PM on Friday and depart after 11:00 AM on Sunday.
  • Registration is open until March 15, 2025, or until we reach full capacity (80 participants).

Registration Instructions

To complete your registration, please follow these steps:
  1. Fill Out the Interest Form on this page with your details.
  2. Submit the Form – Click the SUBMIT button. You will be redirected to the donation page on our parent organization’s website: LeaderSource Donation.
  3. Make Your Donation – Scroll to the bottom of the page until you find "Trailhead Fellowship." Enter the suggested donation amount in the box, add it to your cart, and complete the transaction.
  4. Check Your Email – You should receive an email from LeaderSource confirming your donation. Please retain this email as the proof of your registration. (Check spam folder if you don't see it!)

Tent Camping

Items to bring:
  • Tent or pop-up
  • Outdoor clothes
  • Swimsuit
  • Sleeping bag or sheets/blankets and pillows, etc.
  • Bible, pen and paper
  • Flashlights
  • Toiletries and towels
  • Sunscreen and insect repellant
  • Optional: bikes, camera, snacks, guitar, fishing gear, sports equipment – tennis racquets, favorite table games, frisbee, etc., and lots of energy!
Not to bring:
  • Any computer, gaming device. 
  • Any work-related stuff. 
  • Dads should stay off their phones as much as they can.

Suggested Donation

Trailhead Fellowship is a faith-based ministry committed to supporting all families, regardless of financial circumstances.

The suggested donation for the 2025 Father & Son Campout is:

  • Dad + 1 son: $250
  • Dad + 2 sons: $330
  • Dad + 3 sons: $420

This amount covers the camping fee, all activities, meals (Saturday & Sunday morning), and a t-shirt for each participant. Any additional contribution will help provide scholarships and further support our ministry.

If you’re facing financial hardship and unable to donate the full amount, we don’t want that to prevent you from attending. 

Term and Conditions

Liability Waiver

By registering for this event, I hereby release and hold harmless Trailhead Fellowship, LeaderSource, their members, guests, employees, agents, and Camp Lone Star from any and all liability, including injuries, damages, or transportation-related incidents, sustained by me or my family during our voluntary participation in the 2025 Father & Son Campout.  

Refund Policy

If you cancel before the registration deadline (March 15, 2025), a full refund will be issued to your credit card. No refunds will be available after March 15, 2025, unless the event is canceled.
